Wealth does not stumble on people. Wealth is consciously acquired. You must have been privileged to hear people talk other people’s wealth of experience, wisdom, knowledge and so on. Irrespective of its connotations, wealth building has a platform for it enduring sustenance. Of course you know that a soldier will not go to war front with adequate preparation through strategy thinking, wealth building too has strategies that it uses for life time sustenance. We are going to be exploring three basic wealth - building strategies that will make you a generational success in the school of abundance.

The first wealth building strategy is called problem solving. Study all great men of wealth and influence in the world today; they are all creative solution providers! Bill Gates provided a solution to the world's information processing need and his turnover over the years is absolutely mouth watering. Have you heard of the duo called Larry page and Sergey Brin? These duos are the co-founders of Google-com, a pay per click advertising company. With their search engine, you will be able to link any website in the world irrespective of its location. This became a resource for many internet surfers who do not have a clear understanding of the kind of website they are looking for, or information need, all people need do is to type a key phrase into the Google search box and pronto, thousands of websites is displayed in their very eyes. It solves a problem, isn’t it? After all there are many search result people can easily pick from to suit their needs. That is problem solving in capital letters! If there is any lesson we need to learn for the rest of our lives, it’s this: “enduring wealth responds to problem solving. The bigger the problem you choose to solve, the greater your wealth”

The second wealth building strategy is called the power of creative thought otherwise known as creative ideas. Like I wrote in my article “The starting point of all true riches” that ideas are thought products which are delivered in terms of mental treasures from the mind. They are seed of fortunes you sow today for tomorrow’s harvest. Creative ideas can be generated through different means according to your own way of thinking. Creative ideas can come through OBSERVATION, SEARCHING, LEARNING, MEDIDATION OR ASKING. The law of gravity was discovered by Isaac Newton by asking “why a fruit fell on his head from a tree without any form of restrictions stopping it from falling down”. This strategy is one of the most pure forms of wealth creation because it gives the world what it will live to remember even after you have gone to join your ancestors.

The third strategy and the most important of all is GOD! Do you hear that? God is the foundation and the sustainer of wealth. The brainpower you use to generate the ideas, he gave them to you. The mind you use to think of problems to solve for humanity, he gave it to you. So what do you have that God has not given to you? He gave you the power to make wealth. (Deut 8; 18) wealth gotten by the vanity shall diminish. Focus on God and give reference to him in all your plans and he shall direct your steps. In the school of business, a clear vision is an absolute must and I am yet to see a university with the faculty of vision! So focus on God to give you your life’s vision because in HIM is where your lifetime wealth is deposited. Take a personal study of great men of wealth in our world today; they have used these three strategies to create wealth. So, it’s your turn to build a lasting and a sustainable wealth. Remember, God is the builder and sustainer of wealth (Ps 127:1) you will succeed.
