In his book Acres of Diamond, Russell H. Cornwell narrated the story of a man whose passion is to create enormous wealth. So in his search for riches, he decided to travel to a far country in search of diamonds so that he can achieve his dream of being wealthy. He died in his fruitless adventure and never achieved his dream not until later that the person who bought the land he sold before the adventure discovered that the land sold to him was an acre of diamonds. After reading this rather pathetic story, I became so worried because there are so many people in world today who will rather die than discover what God has deposited in them before the foundation of the world.

I am writing this article today so that you will not die like this man in the story I just narrated above. The good is that you can crack the codes of your own destiny. Success is within and not without. This man wouldn’t have died poor if he discovered very early that everything he is looking for can be found within. Cracking the codes of your own destiny is the secret to an ever winning life!

Study some of the great people who have influenced the world past and present, they are men who cracked the codes of their destiny in one way or the other. Bill gates code of destiny was software development in fact he started thinking of developing great software at a tender age of 13 years! Barrack Obama, the present American president discovered that his code is politics and he remain there no wonder that he became the first Black American president. Another example is the presiding Bishop of one of the largest church in the world containing over 50,000 people in a single service. This great man of God at the age of 26 years cracked his own code of destiny which is preaching the word of faith.

You will agree with me that there are so many people either in business, politics, preaching who are not as fulfilled as these great influential people that I just mentioned. Cracking your own codes is the key to your own destiny and wealth. I know the question ringing in your mind right is How do I crack my own codes to personal wealth?

My answer is that you must ASK GREAT QUESTION AS ONLY THOSE WHO ASK GREAT QUESTIONS BECOME GREAT IN LIFE THEREBY CRACKING THEIR OWN CODES AND DESTINY. Just like your personal identification number called PIN CODES, your own codes of destiny was given to you from God before you were born. But until you ask these question that I am about to outline you may never fulfill your dreams on time.

CODE CRACKING QUESTION: what do you love to do? That is the first question you ask in other to break your own code because when you do what you love your work has finally stopped. Think of great men that I just mentioned, they all love what they do. Doing what you love is the key to breaking your own codes of destiny. What do you love to do? Take a piece of paper and write it down. For me motivation is my first love. I love empowering people and that is what I am doing now. The day I cracked this was the day I know that I have found real wealth. Your work should be fun. Love never fails so you can never fail doing what you love. What do I really love to do? Certainly! Hope you can see now the link between time and profit in your business. To me, time is never to be spent; time is to be invested! That is why even God needs time to create the heaven and the earth.

1. You must learn to delegate. The truth is that you are not created to do everything. Focus on your core expertise and outsource every other thing.

In the first chapter of the book this author hammered seriously on the power of a burning desire in creating wealth. Having a strong passion or burning desire will propel you into transmuting your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual strength into achieving that dream you believed in.

Last but not the least is to give your self to continual learning. The world is already skyrocketing. Do something everyday like learning new skill in your field. Four: a breakthrough business idea must have the potentials to be protected. Very important point, you know what other people don’t know. Your trade secret, your propriety formula known only to you and you alone. Coca-cola thrives on its secret formula. What is yours? Learn to protect it.

Of course you know that a soldier will not go to war front with adequate preparation through strategy thinking, wealth building too has strategies that it uses for life time sustenance. We are going to be exploring three basic wealth - building strategies that will make you a generational success in the school of abundance.

The first wealth building strategy is called problem solving. Study all great men of wealth and influence in the world today; they are all creative solution providers! Bill Gates provided a solution to the world's information processing need and his turnover over the years is absolutely mouth watering. Have you heard of the duo called Larry page and Sergey Brin? These duos are the co-founders of Google-com, a pay per click advertising company. With their search engine, you will be able to link any website in the world irrespective of its location. This became a resource for many internet surfers who do not have a clear understanding of the kind of website they are looking for, or information need, all people need do is to type a key phrase into the Google search box and pronto, thousands of websites is displayed in their very eyes. It solves a problem, isn’t it? After all there are many search result people can easily pick from to suit their needs. That is problem solving in capital letters! If there is any lesson we need to learn for the rest of our lives, it’s this: “enduring wealth responds to problem solving. The bigger the problem you choose to solve, the greater your wealth”

The second wealth building strategy is called the power of creative thought otherwise known as creative ideas. Like I wrote in my article “The starting point of all true riches” that ideas are thought products which are delivered in terms of mental treasures from the mind. They are seed of fortunes you sow today for tomorrow’s harvest. Creative ideas can be generated through different means according to your own way of thinking. Creative ideas can come through OBSERVATION, SEARCHING, LEARNING, MEDIDATION OR ASKING. The law of gravity was discovered by Isaac Newton by asking “why a fruit fell on his head from a tree without any form of restrictions stopping it from falling down”. This strategy is one of the most pure forms of wealth creation because it gives the world what it will live to remember even after you have gone to join your ancestors.

The third strategy and the most important of all is GOD! Do you hear that? God is the foundation and the sustainer of wealth. The brainpower you use to generate the ideas, he gave them to you. The mind you use to think of problems to solve for humanity, he gave it to you. So what do you have that God has not given to you? He gave you the power to make wealth. (Deut 8; 18) wealth gotten by the vanity shall diminish. Focus on God and give reference to him in all your plans and he shall direct your steps. In the school of business, a clear vision is an absolute must and I am yet to see a university with the faculty of vision! So focus on God to give you your life’s vision because in HIM is where your lifetime wealth is deposited. Take a personal study of great men of wealth in our world today; they have used these three strategies to create wealth. So, it’s your turn to build a lasting and a sustainable wealth. Branding simply means of positioning your products and service in the mind of your customers for a very long time without breaking routine and without changing it for any reason. You need to get hold of these no-hold back revelations so as to get your business out of the rut while making it a widely accepted and widely acclaimed business.

The power of branding releases the potentials of any business. How do I mean? Think of it! Every name has a thought behind it. For instance, when most people think of the name Nigeria the next thing that readily come to the mind of the most pessimist is corruption instead of land of full of unusual opportunities where ususual problem solvers who know how to spot unusual opportunities creates unusual wealth. Mention the name Nelson Mandela, what did you see in your mind eye? A renowned African leader. Isn’t it? What about Bill Gates? You readily recollect computer education. What of Tiger Woods, the golf superstar. The next picture that also readily comes to mind is the gtame of golf.

Oprah Winferey became a brand in the field of journalism; she came tops and easily identified as a journalist. Branding is all about weinning your customers mind first so that you and your business can be identified in the crowded market place. Every name is no name. in the business of soft drink, merchandizing for instance, “coke” carries the name that could be easily identified. Tomorrow, send your kid to buy you a soft drink, you wil find to your utmost surprise that he or she would come back with a bottle of coca cola! Why? Because that was the name he could easily identify with. Remember that it’s only what the mind can picture that the mind can capture! What about seasoning product like magi cube, in the market place today, consumers assume that every seasoning product is magi even if they mean other brands. Why? The name has been easily identified with and has remained so. What did you want you and your product to be known for?

Think of the various toothpastes in the market place. The last time you went for toothpaste in your local shop, be true to yourself, the product you innocently demanded was “MacLean’s toothpaste” isn’t it? That is the power of branding for you. That business name you change constantly is what is responsible for lack of business growth. Every name, idea, or word conjures up many images in the minds of your business to come out tops. Or don’t you think so?

Somebody once asked me “what do you want to be famous for?’ my humble answer was that I want to be known as An agent of unequaled wealth empowerment giving people life applicable and life transforming information that changes their business and life forever. To me, this is branding because in the next years, I want to be remembered as one of the gurus in the empowerment industry. As a result, I have decided to leave this brand in the mind of people that I am privileged to serve.

I began my campus motivation carrier on a very sweet note. I tagged that empowerement messages one-minute motivation. You know what? It became a blockbuster idea instantly. In my one minute teaching, I give people practically- laden success formulas they can apply and get fast results in one minute. So this is the secret: use concept people are already familiar with. Warren Buffet, the world-renowned stock market genius has this all-important rule for investors; (1) Never lose money, (2) Never forget rule 1” How true! A smart investor knows that financial skill is not all about creating and spending money, but investing it wisely, in timely investment opportunities as it present itself.
Skill is a major requirement in the pursuit of any goal in life and investing wisely is the secret of smart investors. It is either they protect their hard earned money from loss or they never invest all. Smart investors wait particularly for opportunity to invest before the even care to open their wallet and part with money. Remember the old saying, which says “a fool and his money are soon parted”. Don’t also forget the Chinese proverb which says “Money making is like digging with a nail, while loosing money is like pouring water in the sand”
In this article, I shall proffer five but powerful laws of investing observe them and in no distant time you will find your self on top and start smiling to the bank like Warren Buffet whose statistics shows that he’s worth billion of dollars. Are you ready? Okay, let’s go.
Warning: Remember, that ignorance of these laws should not be an excuse and the violation of these investment laws is a criminal offence punishable by life long poverty if you did not take an urgent step to take heed! Don’t let this happen to you. Here are the laws:

: investigate before you invest: many people fall victims of this type of error and a wise man once said that if you continue in error you might end up in horror! Even start up entrepreneurs are not left out in this snake pit until the money they have over the years worked for fizzle out like smoke in their own eyes. How do you desire to get rich if you do not know what you are doing? You invest in stock market without understanding any a single concept in stock market, what you are to manage and the financial skill required for success. What about those whose interest is trying to invest in the intellectual properties or real estate without having a Mustard seed idea of what they are going into. These set of investors have little understanding of how things work and they still complain that things are not working? That, in my own opinion is a paradox.

Before I started up my journey as an investor I did a lot of market research (which I think many start up entrepreneurs don’t and won’t do) especially in the area of information marketing consulting. I consulted with experts who have track records of success investing in the same line of business. I made sure these consultants are not just talkers but doers before even listening to them and parting with my money. So my market research became a lifesaver! You see, it takes more than money to give life to your investment; you need the instruction backing the “know how” and the experience of people who share passion to make your goals a reality. These set of people have investigated this line of business. You can ask them to show you the way. You don’t want your fraud-free money to end up with fraudsters. Do you? If “NO” then, you better obey this law!

Invest in things you fully understand and believe in:
Before I invested kobo in the area of intellectual property, I consulted a book, which I think every smart intellectual property investor should never hesitate to grab. The title is multiple stream of income written by my money mentor, Robert G. Allen. I bought this book for one reason: to have a better understanding of what I believe in. that you believe in that line of business is not enough to succeed as an investor, you also need a good understanding In business. The insight I gleaned from this book make me conclude that I will surely be a high flier in the school of intellectual property investing. For sure! Please do the same, understanding your business.
LAW 3:test before you invest: do many start-ups do this? I think the answer is capital No! Every investment needs a qualitative testing or pre-investing exercise. For instance, in stock market investment, experts say smart investors will invest first on paper for days (at least three good months) before investing in a real life market. Think on paper! Do some mental simulation through testing before investing

4:consult with experts for thorough analysis: I cringe when people go into a business they cannot analyze for either present profit or future growth. Expert business start up analysis will save an investor some headache financial loss. Business analysis provides full detail analysis of a particular business so that you can invest with peace of mind without any hard feelings. Get a business startup analysis before embarking on your journey so that you can return with windfall of profit.
5:make sure your business fits your talents: this I think is one of the most important in the school of investing. Can you imagine a person who has no talent for spotting errors and desire to go into proofreading business? How do you think such a person will survive? According to the Bible your talent is the power given to you to get wealth? (Deut 8: 18) and also the maximization of such talent will facilitate more resources beyond your widest imagination (matt 25:26). Invest in what you have the skill for and don’t copy your own self! Remember that you also need to develop you talents and fire them into skill level because talent unrefined is like crude oil. In market! A gifted talent is different from a polished talent. When you polish your talent it becomes a skill and becoming skillful in what you do is what makes you a professional. Marry your talents with your business and you will be discharged and acquitted from the court of poverty!

The story is told of a beggar who once sat by the side of the road for 30 years. One day a stranger walked by ‘Spare some change” mumbled the beggar, mechanically holding out his old baseball cap. “I have nothing to give you”, said the stranger. Then he asked: “what’s that you are sitting on? Nothing”, replied the beggar, just an old box. “I have been sitting on it for as long as I can remember”. Have you ever looked inside” asked the stranger. “What’s the point? There is nothing there”. Have a look inside” insisted the stranger. The beggar tried to pry open the lid. With astonishment, disbelief and elation, he saw that the box was filled with gold.
Dear reader, my question to you is this: have you been sitting on a gold mine? Are you still living a beggary life like the man in the story? Are you still finding it difficult to make ends met in life? If you are, then the answer is in your box and that box is you idea! In truth, idea is the starting point of all true riches. You don’t need money as it were to make money. “All you needed is an heaven sent idea and you will lice like a king for the rest of your life”

Ideas are the seeds of fortunes you sow today for tomorrow’s bountiful harvest. All you need is to open the window of your mind for ideas to freely flow in. opportunities are everywhere but only those who open their creative antenna can track the tides of ideas. According to God’s prescription, you are the window has promised to open so that he can pour his great ideas through you as a blessing to your world. (Malachi 3:10). In other words, you are the window!
Those great ideas you have been neglecting for years may turn to be the engine that will spin your waste to wealth, turn your trash into treasures and convert your agony into sweet stories. A true businessman does not seek a job; he seeks ways to manifest an idea. That is why he is called an entrepreneur! An entrepreneur is a person who has dreams that are trapped in his mind and when he decides to release his dreams develop and produce from his ideas, his business has just begun.

Entrepreneurs like Bill Gates, Goldman Sachs, Michael Dell, and of course our own Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim, are among these set of courageous individuals who dares to manifest great ideas that has never stopped producing jobs for many. This simple strategy worked for Bill Gates; it worked for Michael Faraday; it worked for the co-founder of Google.com.

It worked for Jimoh Ibrahim; it’s amazing working for me. Who says it cannot work for you too? The problems of Nigeria should be you problems! Start thinking of ways to solve part of these problems and the door of wealth will be opened to you with ease. Great wealth, I mean great wealth, responds quickly to problem solving. Amazing prosperity is ready to open its gates for those who have positioned themselves as creative solution providers. What can I do for Nigeria? That should be your question from today! The answer to that question revealed to you, can translate you from prison to palace and humanity will live to celebrate your altruistic effort after you are gone. Remember God is the giver of great ideas. Ask him and he is always willing to give to those who humbly ask him. Go and succeed!

Another important factor that aid ones attitude to riches is having
mentors. Mentors help you fertilize your dreams. Mentors are professional instructors and counselors sent by God to rescue humanity. Mentors have made almost all the mistakes so that you can make few or none of these mistakes on your way to obtained what you have been struggling to obtain. In fact, am yet to see a highly successful man that is not the elongation of other men. Are you still doing things on your own? Trying to re-invent the wheel?
