TIME IS MONEY IN BUSINESS
Your time is your life that is why the word is spelt l-i-f-e-t-i-m-e!
Time management is the central skill of success. Your ability to manage your time as an entrepreneur, to focus on your highest value task will determine your rewards and your levels of accomplishment in life more than any other factor.
It’s often said that time is the greatest commodity of which everybody have same amount- same seconds, hours, days, month is time. The truth is that both the rich and the poor have 24 hours daily, yet, human activities widely differ among individuals depending on how you see time in your own profession. For instance, to you as an entrepreneur it would be right to say that time is profit; waist time and waste profit.
Imagine yourself as an business man who has a lot of staffs working for you, I want to believe that there should be a minimum time within which you expect your staff to do certain amount of work and you pay salaries and wages based either on the time spent at the work or on the quantity of goods produced.
Lets assume the said staff does not spend the required minimum time or that he wasted the time without producing the amount of work expected and you pay him the same salary or wages as if he has put in the needed the needed time or produced the expected quality of goods, would you lose at the end of such period? Certainly! Hope you can see now the link between time and profit in your business. To me, time is never to be spent; time is to be invested! That is why even God needs time to create the heaven and the earth.
Please start valuing time because it’s the greatest resource given to man by God. How do I manage my time effectively? Here are some tips to help you.
1. You must learn to delegate. The truth is that you are not created to do everything. Focus on your core expertise and outsource every other thing.
2. Cut off all unnecessary events. Learn to cut off every activity that is not taking you toward your daily goal.
3. Save yourself time energy and money! The power of business is the power of leverage. The internet for instance is a great leverage that can help you send messages in a twinkle of an eye. Be computer literate so that you too can leverage this 21st century tool called the internet. To your success!
